These kitchen shears are truly impressive. They say “soft comfort handle” and they are NOT kidding about that. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but I have no reason to doubt their performance. I’m just puzzled about one thing; namely, hand washing only (the description on Amazon says DW okay), so naturally, I’m wondering why . . . not even in the top rack? But, putting that aside, they do appear to be of exceptional quality, in a box suitable for gifting, and the price is WAY beyond reasonable. I was stunned! Happily stunned. That is a very rare circumstance to experience these days. Add to that, delivery two days earlier than expected? Wow!

We do a good deal of cooking. We have a big kitchen and its design allows for 3 separate work stations. One thing I’ve learned abut sharp things is they get dull much faster if you cut anything but food with them. Well my knives are used just for food but the scissors are used for just about everything else. From opening bags of frozen stuff to snipping the mesh on a bag of lemons, they are basically, as kitchen tools go, abused. Now while knives are made from hardened steel the kitchen scissor is not. So they start out razor sharp but because of what they are used for, they dull very quickly.
What I like about this pair is how easily they come apart. It allows for them to be cleaned better and most importantly, sharpened. Now at the price of $8.99 you might just toss them and replace but if your concerned about waste invest in a sharpener for scissors and you should be able to squeeze 3-4 years out of them.
I see the manufacture has made every attempt to turn these into the “swiss-army-knife” of scissors and while i have always enjoyed removing the leaves from the thyme and rosemary by hand I suppose you could find some use with the feature but I would not attempt to cut bones with these. If the blades do not deform from the force required the plastic handles with certainly break.

The shears can be separated – which is AWESOME – because how ofen when you sharpen scissors the sharpener can not reach the part closest to the joint – since these separate, that is not a issue. I appreciate it when a seller thanks you for ordering from there – Nice that they are NICE. Shears are a good price.
I will say that the I would recommend these be stored in a drawer and not in a countertop utensil cup since the top of the scissors have the herb stripper/can opener and both are a bit sharp.

The scissor blades are strongly attached to each other — which will help to prevent the blades from “separating” from each other. There are a variety of additional features to the scissors. They have additional functions — nutcracker, bottle opener, herb “stripper” and bone cutter. The scissors are very comfortable, with easy to grip handles that have a soft “rubber-like” material that adds to the nice feel in your hand. Cutting is precise and only requires one easy hand clamping action to complete the cut. No need for “double” handle compression to complete a positive cut. These scissors feel solid and well-made, yet they are not so heavy as to cause hand fatigue from heavy use. The blades are sharp and versatile. I use them for everything from resizing parchment paper to cutting through fowl bones and connective tissue. The herb stripper works easily and there is even a can opener function which I also use to pierce the membrane on sealed bottles and jugs. I have even taken the advice of an experienced cook and used them for slicing pizza. The result is cleanly cut slices and no marring of the pizza pan. They wash up easily as well—just a little soap and a brush under the tap, or toss them into the dishwasher with the utensils.

Aihomo All Purpose Kitchen Scissors with Herb Stripper are either left or right-handed, I believe, having the same size large and comfortable hand grip on each detachable blade. I found this an easy engineering and inclusive design.
The Stainless-steal blades are sharp and might entirely go through the handle causing long scissor life. (My last kitchen shears broke at the handle).
The end of each handle when closed together functions as an herb striper. Depending on herb, herb can be drawn through different sized holes causing leaves to peel off stem.
Aihomo All Purpose Kitchen Scissors are not overly gimmicky so their function meets the needs of a cook or user.

These shears are incredible! Not only are they the sharpest shears I’ve ever used their design is absolutely perfect for me. I have large hands and most shears are tight, not these they have comfortably large openings. But not so large that they become unwieldy for my wife. She was also impressed by their functionality, whether taking apart a chicken or stripping parsley or rosemary these are excellent. The final feature that really pushes these above the others is that the pieces separate for washing.

This is a well-made, pair of strong stainless steel scissors with many features. The package and the scissors are shown in the pictures. Besides what the scissors can do compared to regular scissors, it can be used to crack nuts, cut bones, stripe herbs, open soda cans, plus more. This is a very strong pair of scissors for the kitchen. I have not tried using it yet to cut meat or bone, but I am sure it will do the trick. These are quite sturdy to last a long time for many different cutting jobs. There is a space in the middle to take the leaves off herb stems. I use mine mainly for parsley. The end can be used to open bottles. Good all around tool for the kitchen that will cut just about anything. Comfortable handle too.

I get thick steaks from Costco and I was able to cut them in half with these scissors relatively easily as they’re sharp and strong. It is handy that they come apart for cleaning but I’m not used to that yet as I sometimes separate them by accident. Very handy to have in my kitchen.

These scissors are sharp and reliable, making them a great tool to have on hand in the kitchen. While they come with a bunch of extra features like a nutcracker, herb stripper, can opener, and bone cutter, I find that 99.9% of the time, I just need scissors, and these are a solid pair of scissors.
