I tried so many meat tenderizer but this is the one I have been searching for. Most of the meat tenderizer mallets are not dishwasher safe. Not even the name brand ones. This product is made from good quality stainless steel which is dishwasher safe. The handle is a little bit short compared to others but no big deal. Easy to use, easy to clean. Not too heavy. Just right size and weight for me. I wish I could give 10 stars.
Gachris –
This is handy for “smashing” things like garlic cloves and air fryer plantains. It is a nice weight and an attractive tool and washes easily.
I have not tried using it with meat.
Beth Kelley –
This tenderizer is one piece. Easy to keep clean and bacteria free. Right into the dish washer after use unlike my one one which was aluminum and needed to be hand cleaned

We had a cheap tenderizer before this one and it lasted years but one day the head broke off. Scared everyone. Hopefully, this one is a bit more durable but only time will tell. For now, it’s doing its job perfectly. If my opinion changes, I’ll be sure to update this review.

I have never had a meat mallet before, and I really do see a difference when I use this method of tenderizing. I used it first on chicken breast’s with the flat side of the mallet. It made the meat all the same thickness, and so the results of evenly cooked meat was much easier to achieve. The trick is not to get carried away and end up smashing the meat. The mallet does the work with very little force needed. The other side I used for beef. I either do not know how to use it on beef or I am not using it correctly. I prefer the tiny blades that perforate my steak, with some tenderizer sprinkled on. I was happy using it on mutton or lamb, honestly I cannot swear to which one I had. I was happy using the spiked side of the mallet, and felt like it helped, on that. I now have the Aihomo Meat Tenderizer Mallet in my kitchen, it has found its home, and I am glad it is here.

This is a great meat tenderizer. The stainless steel head is heavy so it really pounds. But because the handle is also stainless steel it is very balanced so it feels light in your hand when you strike with it. The handle is also quite comfortable in my hand.

Love the one-piece construction. It is solid, well balanced, and a perfect companion in the kitchen. This is a must-have tool in your kitchen drawer.
SallyinBoston –
This mallet is one-piece. It is heavy and substantial. It works great for tenderizing meat. Just what I wanted. Stainless steel does not interact with the food and can be cleaned really well .

Mallet is strong and works will. No issues with riding as it feels like a surgical tool.

I do the grocery shopping and try to get the best deals which include some pretty wimpy meat. I bought this for my wife so she could beat my meat. WOW, what a handy meat beater it is! With its well-balanced all stainless steel design, she’ll swing that thing and beat my meat into submission! After a couple of minutes my meat is ready to release all the flavor it can muster. And because we’re doing the carnivore/animal-based diet, we eat a lot of nuts. This baby will bust your nuts no problem. So, whether you’re whackin’ your weiner or crushing your nuts, this is the handiest quality tool for ya’ll! Photos forthcoming.

Perfect size and weight. Used many times already also bought one for my daughter who likes it too.
Diana M. –
My last one, I could not use in the dishwasher. This one is great! Cleans easily under the faucet, and can be placed in the dishwasher. Has a storage bag. Great buy!
patricia slechta –
SMASH SMASH SMAAAASH! This thing could obliterate anything put in it’s path and leave no viable trace of what you originally started smashing. 10/10
Kevin R. –
Stainless steel and dishwasher safe! Have had several meat mallets that were aluminum and totally impractical that they turn a dull gray after putting in the dishwasher, that leaves gray stains on the meats tenderized (chicken, beef, pork).
Mary K Rutan –
This mallet may seem small compared to others but it’s a perfect size and you can effortlessly pound out chicken, pork, or beef that has consistent thickness every time.

There are multiple options from well established brands, and from other less well known but well reviewed brands, but questions were raised about durability, tarnishing, and residue on food (which is the most concerning thing to me), and so I spent almost twice as much to get this item instead. While I don’t have the others to compare it to, I am delighted with this single piece, well finished, 100% stainless steel tool. I’m glad that I chose it.
Michael M –
So far exactly as advertised. Solid, ready to hammer!
Sparko –
very well made, handle good, was surprised that it works so good for price

How can you wax eloquent about a hammer? Pretty easy on this unit Well designed, dishwasher safe, Reasonable price, will last you and your heirs through their lifetime.

I had my previous mallet for many years and it worked fine, but I just got tired of reminding the Dish Washer in my house that it was one of the implements that can’t go in the dishwasher.
This mallet is nicely balanced, works efficiently and comes out of the dishwasher looking brand new.
LaRon Martin –
This mallet is real heavy

Very strong and works well and looks nice.
Ruby Rayne –
Excellent. Really happy with the purchase so far. I use on mostly dry goods to break them up. Eventually will use on a steak. So far, this is perfect for chocolate, nuts, crackers, etc.
Monica Juen –
This is just what I wanted. The grip on it works for me, so it’s easy for me to use. It’s not too heavy for my arthritis. It crushes garlic, breaks ice down, flattens meat. I love it!
Colleen E –
nice size and weight and dishwasher safe. My favorite meat tenderizer so far
Betty Dill –
Heavy. Comes with storage bag.
Myles B Dyson –
If you have hard meat, you have to beat it to make it soft. This is a great item to beat that hard meat. I can’t stress enough how my wife can really use this to beat the meat I bring home. It’s really a great tool.
The Snausage –
It seems to be actually stainless steel. Good size and shape.
M. Chan –
Have used this for a couple of months now, pounding chicken and also crushing candy canes. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Feels sturdy. Good size for the hands. Love the full steel look.
kate –
Just what I ordered and expected. Got my chicken cutlets nice and thin. Glad I finally broke down and purchased a good mallet
Oscar Glenn Jones –
Works great to tenderize meats cuts that tend to be tough. Just enough weight to do the job but not hard to handle.

I have been using my hands to bash my meat for as long as I can remember. This weighty tool makes the job quicker and it’s more effective.
Easy to wash and clean, would recommend.
